In early 2000 Polymetron introduced "Purecal", a conductivity calibrator for pure and USP grade water.This level of pure of water is found
in demineralization plants, boiler feedwater, condensates, semi-conductor rinsewater, and pharmaceutical plants.For this type of water (under 10 micro S/cm), liquid calibration standards do not exist. You must calibrate in
comparison to a portable calibrator which is in-turn calibrated and traceable to ASTM D5391, D1125, ISO7888 and NIST standards. Specifically ASTM and USP require the electrical calibration of your conductivity transmitter
and either a re-calculation of it's cell constant or a process calibration, using a certified conductivty calibration bench.The Model 9126 is just such a calibration bench.
